Our story

The Dr Themba Oscar Makhubele Foundation, founded on 23 May 2022 by Rivoningo Gift Mtolo, honours the life of his late father, Dr Themba Oscar Makhubele—a compassionate doctor who served with love, humility, and heart.

Inspired by his father’s words,

“Be kind to people, and God will bless you,”

Rivoningo turned grief into purpose.

What began as a small charity drive in Tshiawelo has grown into a registered non-profit, fully active since 2025, focused on uplifting communities through education, youth empowerment, counselling, and development.

“This is more than a Foundation — it’s a promise to continue his legacy, one life at a time.”
